Project Monitoring & Reporting

Reporting Requirements

Narrative Progress Reports

The Project Director is responsible for the timely completion and submission of all progress or narrative reports. Please refer to the award letter or award agreement for reporting requirements. Typically, at least annual progress and final reports will be required. Unless otherwise specified in the grant terms, final reports are typically due within 90 days of the termination of the grant.

The Sponsored Programs Office is available to review progress and narrative reports required by the sponsor. Copies of all narrative reports and correspondence related to the grant must be forwarded to the Sponsored Research Office.

Financial Reports

The Restricted Funds Accountant completes financial reports required by the sponsor.

OSP Advisories

As a service to project directors, the Office of Sponsored Programs sends email reminders of report due dates and project close dates. The subject line of such emails always begins with "OSP Advisory" and contains the FSU project number and OSP proposal number of the grant.
